There will be a collection box in the narthex.

Ash Wednesday Service - Wednesday, February 18, 7:00pm at El Segundo UMC
We will enter into the penitential season of Lent by having ashes placed on our foreheads, walk with Jesus on the road that will lead him to the cross, and confess our sins and our need for God to carry us with him. Our Ash Wednesday service has been a special blessing, with over 75 voices of the joint Chancel Choirs from all the participating churches. Hope to see you there.

Lenten Prayer - Monday through Saturday, 7:00am, starting February 19-April 4
Do you seem to start every day one step behind? Wouldn't it be wonderful to take a moment to connect with God, pray over the tasks ahead, lay before God your concerns, and consider wisely how you can make the most of the precious day that is ahead? Here is your chance. In keeping with the upcoming season of Lent, we will be having a daily time of prayer.

SAC Lunches - Saturday, February 21, 8:30am
Now is the opportunity to help with local outreach! On the 3rd Saturday of each month, 40 lunch bags are prepared and handed out to the laborers at Home Depot on 182nd Street in Gardena. About 6 persons on a team are adequate. You may help as an individual, or with friends, or as a family. Sign up sheet in the Narthex. Faith in Action!

Caregivers' Support Group - Monday, February 23, 7pm
The mission of the Caregiver Support Group is to provide emotional and spiritual support to adults who are caring for aging parents and spouses. The group also provides resources in the fields of elder care, Alzheimer’s disease, and other end-of-life issues. Small groups enable personal sharing and encouragement. We meet on the 4th Monday of every month and are open to church members as well as members of our community.
